First up, we have the exclusive reveal for Dark Horse Direct’s Critical Role Origins Bookends. We’ll dive into just how cool they are in detail, but first, let’s just look at these bookends. Aren’t they incredible?

Formed to look like Dungeons & Dragons dice, these bookends replace the usual numbers with sigils that represent Critical Role‘s beloved characters from both the Vox Machina and Mighty Nein parties. If you take a closer look, you might be able to find your favorite character’s side of the die. We’re pretty sure we see our favorite guy, Percy de Rolo, represented by his trusty pepperboxOpens in a new tab. We love it.

Let’s get even deeper into it. On one side of these Critical Role Origins Bookends, you’ll find a golden 20-sided die, which is etched with the symbols of Vox Machina. This bookend represents the heroes who defeated legendary foes, toppled the Chroma Conclave, and built their legacy throughout Tal’Dorei. On the other side, you’ll see a blue 12-sided die bears the marks of the Mighty Nein, the unpredictable misfits who challenged fate, forged unbreakable bonds, and saved Wildemount from an aberrant end. The dice bookends rest on a decorative base, and they’ll definitely help any slightly messy misfit or legendary (but slightly all over the place) hero conquer their collection of Critical Role books such as The Chronicles of Exandria, The Mighty Nein Origins, and tales yet to be told. Each bookend is made of polyresin and stands 7 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Each piece will also include a hand-numbered base and a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity. These amazing creations were sculpted by Bigshot Toyworks with prototyping and paint by J.W. Productions.

The Critical Role Origins Bookends are now available to pre-order exclusively from Dark Horse DirectOpens in a new tab. This fannish product will cost $179.99. The bookends are expected to ship to customers between November and January. There will only be 1,000 of these bookends available, so there will be an ordering limitation of two per customer.

It will bring you 45 pages of all-new art that captures the magic of Critical Role‘s recently concluded third campaignOpens in a new tab. Some of the best moments of the Bells Hells campaign will emerge in black-and-white original art pieces, ready for you to fill in with your own color. Even better, the cast of Critical Role specifically chose the moments featured in the coloring book, adding that extra beautiful connection between creators and fans.

Just to help you get ready for the delights in store for you in the Critical Role: Bells Hells Coloring Book, here’s a look inside the fantastical pages of the book. Get ready to face the fierce foes across Exandria and the cosmos… with the help of your colored pencils.

The Critical Role: Bells Hells Coloring Book will feature art by Kendra Wells, Aviv Or, Selina Espiritu, Couple of Kooks, Idalda, Olivia Samson, and Cait May. The official description shares that the coloring book will include “45 all-new black-and-white original art pieces fill the 10×10” paperback coloring book, which features one-sided images to ensure artists don’t have to worry about bleed or display choices.”

Critical Role: Bells Hells Coloring Book is 96 pages and will be available in bookstores and comic shops on August 26 and 27, 2025. It is now available for pre-order at your local comic shop or bookstore for $19.99.
